1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScoreWipe ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. ScoreWipe reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

ScoreWipe is a self-service platform that provides tools to help consumers exercise their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The Service includes:

  • AI-generated dispute letter creation
  • Credit report parsing and analysis
  • Dispute tracking and management
  • Optional USPS Certified Mail sending
  • Educational resources about credit rights

3. Not a Credit Repair Organization

ScoreWipe is NOT a credit repair organization as defined under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq. We do not perform credit repair services on your behalf. We provide tools and educational resources to help you exercise your own legal rights under the FCRA. You are responsible for all actions taken using our tools, including the filing of disputes with credit bureaus.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Only dispute items on your own credit report (not on behalf of others without proper authorization)

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

ScoreWipe offers Free, Pro ($34/month), and Pro+ ($59/month) subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Additional fees may apply for optional services such as USPS Certified Mail delivery ($4.49–$5.99 per letter depending on plan). All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Provide truthful information in dispute letters
  • Not use the Service to file frivolous or fraudulent disputes
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Not share your account with others or resell access
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws

7. AI-Generated Content

Dispute letters generated by our AI are created using machine learning models and are intended as starting points. While we strive for accuracy and legal compliance, you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before sending. ScoreWipe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated letters.

8. No Guarantee of Results

ScoreWipe does not guarantee that any dispute will result in the removal, correction, or modification of information on your credit report. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including the accuracy of information you provide and the responses of credit bureaus and data furnishers.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by ScoreWipe and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoreWipe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or credit opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
