Your Rights Under the FCRA

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681) grants every consumer the right to dispute inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information on their credit reports. This is a federal right that belongs to you, regardless of whether you use ScoreWipe or any other tool. Key provisions include:

  • Printing, signing, and mailing dispute letters yourself
  • Keeping copies of all correspondence for your records
